Invoicing & claims

From finished visit to money in the bank.

Completing a visit drafts its invoice, priced for the patient's funding. NDIS, private, plan managers and more, each sent to the right payer, with reminders when something is overdue.

Invoicing

The invoice is ready when the visit is.

Priced from your price book for that funder, checked before it goes.

How it works

Completing a visit drafts its invoice, priced from the service and the patient's funding. Nothing is sent until a person has looked at it.

  • One button for a day's visits, several visits on one invoice, or bulk invoices by practitioner, service or location.
  • Bill per visit, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
  • A branded PDF tax invoice with your logo, ABN, funder references and payment details.
  • Emailed to the billing contact, plan manager, insurer or patient, with delivery shown.
Sending an invoice: a draft is opened from the register, the email reviewed and sent, and its status changes to Sent.
The invoice register: most invoices paid and one overdue, with funding type, total and status on each.

Funding

Eight funding types, each handled its own way.

NDIS, Medicare (EPC), DVA, WorkCover, TAC, Support at Home, private and health insurance.

How it works

Each funder has its own price, item code, cancellation code and travel rules. The patient's funding card records how the plan is managed so the right invoice goes to the right payer.

  • NDIS plan-managed invoices go to the plan manager and self-managed invoices to the participant.
  • Case budgets draw down sessions, hours or dollars visit by visit.
  • Medicare EPC referral, sessions and expiry sit on the case, and each invoice names anything that would stop the claim.
  • The NDIS bulk payment file for agency-managed participants, with problems flagged first.
Finances › Money owed: outstanding of $28,256, overdue of $3,138 and Medicare and DVA claims by status, above the aged debtors table.

Questions

Is Medicare claiming built in?

Online Medicare and DVA claiming are coming soon. Today the referral, sessions and expiry sit on the case, and each invoice names what would stop the claim.

What if I forget to invoice a visit?
