AspireOS vs Cliniko: a flat team price or a price per practitioner?

Cliniko charges a flat price by team size; AspireOS charges per practitioner with two-way SMS included. What each costs and includes, sourced and dated.

Cliniko is one of the longest-standing practice systems in Australia, known for being simple and dependable. It also prices differently from most: one flat monthly price for your team size, rather than a price per practitioner. Here is how it compares with AspireOS, using Cliniko's own website, read on 25 October 2026.

The price

Cliniko's Australian prices are A$45 a month for 1 practitioner, A$95 for 2 to 5, A$145 for 6 to 8, A$195 for 9 to 12, A$295 for 13 to 25 and A$395 for 26 to 200, with every feature and unlimited admin users included, SMS at 10c a message, and one month free a year if you pay yearly (Cliniko pricing). The page does not say whether the prices include GST.

AspireOS is A$45 + GST per practitioner a month (A$49.50 including GST), or A$40 + GST a month billed yearly, with admin roles free and two-way SMS included (fair use).

For a solo practitioner the two base prices are the same number. For a team, Cliniko's flat price is lower: five practitioners are A$95 a month on Cliniko and A$225 on AspireOS. If price for a larger clinic team is what matters most, Cliniko is hard to beat.

Where Cliniko does more today

  • Online claiming. Cliniko claims Medicare and health funds through Tyro Health (Cliniko help). AspireOS does not lodge claims online yet; Medicare and DVA claiming and HICAPS are waiting on partner approval.
  • Instant online booking and built-in telehealth. AspireOS's booking page is a request the practice confirms, and its telehealth visits use the video service you already have.
  • A longer free trial. Cliniko's is 30 days with no card. AspireOS also asks for no card, and nothing is charged until you set up a direct debit.

Where AspireOS does more

  • Texting is in the price. Two-way SMS on the practice's own number is included, so a busy practice is not buying credits on top.
  • Built for mobile teams. Travel worked out from real road times across the day, free slots ranked by the extra drive, and travel billed by funder, including the NDIS drive home.
  • Funded care in detail. NDIS, Support at Home, DVA, WorkCover and TAC invoices that pick the right payer, funding episodes with a meter of what is left, and service agreements signed online.
  • The team in the same app. Credentials with renewal reminders, rostering, leave and timesheets.

Prices checked 25 October 2026 on Cliniko's own website. Prices change, and Cliniko's website is the final word. Cliniko is a trade mark of its owner, named here only to compare; AspireOS is not affiliated with it.
