For speech pathologists

Speech pathology practice software for clinic and home visits.

A speech pathology caseload runs on scheduling, notes, money and keeping families in the loop. AspireOS covers all of it on one record, without a stack of point tools.

The calendar

Clinic sessions and visits on one calendar.

Real road times between visits, and free slots ranked by the extra drive.

How it works

Clinic sessions and visits to homes sit on one calendar. The drive before and after each visit comes from real road times, and free slots are ranked by the extra driving they add.

  • Buffers either side of a visit, and warnings for clashes and the family's stated availability.
  • Group bookings with an attendee list, each with their own status and note.
  • The phone app shows the day's visits in order, with directions.

Notes

Session notes from a template, with a version trail.

SOAP and your own templates, and dictation between sessions.

How it works

Session notes start from a template (SOAP, DAP and the rest, or one you build) and keep a version trail. Dictate on the phone between sessions and review before you save.

  • Note templates in Settings, including your own.
  • Alerts on the file for anything the next clinician needs to know.
  • Reports and letters drafted from the record for your review.
Settings › Clinical › Note templates: the built-in SOAP, DAP, Initial, Review and Discharge templates with their block counts and a New template button.

See it working

The caseload, the notes and the invoices together.

Shown with sample data.

The Messages inbox: patients' text replies to appointment reminders, one conversation open with the reminder and the patient's confirmation.

Billing

The right invoice to the right payer.

NDIS, private and other funders, each with its own rules.

How it works

Each funder has its own rules in your price book, applied when the session is booked and carried through to the invoice. NDIS invoices go to the plan manager or participant as PDF tax invoices, or into the bulk payment file for agency-managed participants.

  • You enter your own support items, prices and limits.
  • Money owed with an aged debtors table.
  • Visits never invoiced shown in Finances › To invoice.
The invoice register: most invoices paid and one overdue, with funding type, total and status on each.

Staying in touch

Reminders, replies and a portal link.

Text reminders, the replies in one inbox, and a portal for the family.

How it works

Appointment reminders go out by text and the replies land in the Messages inbox. A portal link shows upcoming visits, invoices and payments, with no password and no app.

  • Telehealth from a single secure link when a session is better done remotely.
  • Waitlist and intake for new enquiries, with suburb and days waiting on each card.

Questions

Questions practices ask

Can AspireOS handle home visits as well as the clinic?

Visits to homes and other places sit on the same calendar as clinic sessions, with the drive worked out from real road times. Travel can be added to the invoice per funder within limits you set.

Are there speech pathology note templates?

There are general built-in templates (SOAP, DAP, Initial, Review and Discharge) and you can build your own for anything specific to your practice.

Can I bill NDIS participants?

Yes, with your own support items and prices. AspireOS does not lodge NDIS claims: for agency-managed participants it builds the bulk payment file and you upload it in the NDIS provider portal.

Can I run telehealth sessions?

Yes. A telehealth session runs from a single secure link, with no app for the patient to install.
